in the future II

In May I made a list of actors I wished to work with. Now I am going to update the list. First off, I left my friend, Alexander Sloan McBryde of the list. He doesn't make this one either, as I was able to work with him, Bob Bozek and Michael O'Hear On BGoaR:Angel of Death. I accidentally left Kash Costner, Emil Novak and Brandon Tyson off that list. I add them now. Jennifer Bihl is still on the list, as is Debbie Rochon. Now to update the list, I am adding Daniel James, Stephanie Andrews and Kathy Thiel Murphy.

Black Guy on a Rampage:Angel of Death

I had the distinct pleasure of starring as Jackie Long in the latest installment of the Black Guy trilogy. My character, Jackie Long is the reason for the Black Guy's rampage. (To find out why you'll have to see it, no teasers here.) I had a fun time on set both Saturday and Sunday. I had the distinct pleasure of popping my sister in law's(Lori Cholewka) speaking part cherry(HEHE). It was her first time. I, also, had the much anticipated chance to share dialogue with some of the finest local actors.

A Personal Note About The Date Of 9/13

I know this isn't about the desired subject of these blogs, but......

audition

Yesterday, I auditioned for the new DefTone Studio Pictures film, Ombis. I went with my sister in law, Lori and uncle, Bobby. We arrived a little early. We filled out our paperwork. Being a wise guy, in the section that said photo, I drew a stick figure of myself. We had to wait as the audition crew (Adam Steigert, Mark Mendola, Brendan Orrange, Christopher Brechtel, Christopher Burns, Julian Dickman, Michael Howard, Janeen Avery and Megan Nicaise) ate lunch. It gave us a chance to chat about our upcoming audition.

In the Future

I've come to realize that there are a few local actors I want to share scenes with. I've appeared in scenes with them but never in a dialog driven scene. These would be Michael O'Hear, Bob Bozek and Jennifer Bihl. Like I said, I've done scenes with them, but I've never traded lines with them. I am hopeful to get the chance to do so with these excellent actors/actress. Another I would like to be able to say I shared a scene with is the lovely and talented Debbie Rochon. Someday, maybe my own script?????

Benefit

I had a great time at the benefit double feature of Slime City/Slime City Massacre  for  Benjamin Heppel, age 8. There were many raffle items given away. I won a few. Sam Q. was a big winner(you're welcome for not getting jumped in the parking lot). Personally, I was glad to see the group that included Benjamin's parents won a bunch of the give aways too. I love the way Buffalonians come together for a good cause. I was a little disappointed because I thought the turnout would be bigger. Thank you Greg for putting this benefit on.

Condolences

Just a little something to all the visitors and fans of the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival. One of our own, Shannon Wheeler, lost his mother last night in a tragic accident. He was a big help to Greg and John Renna on Slime City Massacre. This is my own personal and public show of condolences. Many prayers and well wishes to you, Shannon on this great personal loss to you and your family. Be strong pal. There are many out here that can and will help you get through this.

Birthday

Today is my 40th birthday. I share it with James Garner, Jackie Chan, Russell Crowe and Francis Ford Coppola. I feel priviledged to be able to say that. My birthday wish for this year is that I can one day say I was successful in the movie industry also.

FND Premiere Experience

Not going to give a review of the movie, cause it might be a submission to this year's festival. I will discuss the experience though. The day started with a limo ride to the theater. We had to drive to the rendevous point to be picked up, but oh well. I had to stay in the entranceway as I was holding tickets for a few people. After those people showed up, I was able to go and find my seat. On the way, I was hijacked by Adam Stiegert, the director and writer. He had a person that was looking for autographs from the cast and crew. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I was asked for an autograph.

happy birthday

My life underwent a significant change this day 6 years ago. On this date my beautiful daughter Kylie was born. I was already a father as my son, Christopher was already 9 when his little sister was born.Tthe day started out uneventful. I got ready for work and was about to walk out the door. Sharon came walking down the hall holding her prego belly and using the wall for support. I asked her if everything was ok. She said all was good, so I went to work. When I got there I told my supervisor that I was expecting THE CALL. Sure enough I got the call at 930.
