Once again, I'd like to thank everyone who submitted a film or screenplay to the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival for consideration.  Because we like to encourage up and coming talent, we hope that everyone realizes that just being accepted by a film festival is one form of recognition; being nominated for an award is another; and winning an award is icing on the cake.  I truly believe that the most important aspect of film festivals is to bring films, filmmakers, and filmgoers together for a shared experience.  But competition is fun, and recognition is an important form of encouragement.  Here are the nominees for the Buffalo Screams Horror Film Festival 2011 awards.  Please note that we will be giving out over 30 awards, far more than the number of categories you see represented here...we like surprises, don't you?  The awards will be presented at our celebratory dinner at the Screening Room, Sunday, Oct. 30th at 7:30 pm.  The dinner costs is $17.00 per head, including for nominees; last year's was a blast.  Drum roll...
